Rotocon has appointed Michael Wang as the managing director and shareholder of Rotocon Asia.

Rotocon began to cooperate with Wang in 2013 to develop a series of economical finishing equipment to meet technical investment needs, that is, to strike a balance between the highest possible specifications and competitive prices. Since then, the EcoLine brand has evolved to include seven slitter/rewinder systems with inspection capabilities, ultrasonic anilox roller cleaners, printing plates, and cost-effective flexographic printing presses.

“From the very beginning of our interaction, Michael Wang was always willing to find ways to customize and optimize EcoLine machines to meet our design goals and absorb customer feedback,” said Michael Aengenvoort.

'Over the years, we have established a strong partnership based on trust, which is particularly important when conducting business in different continents and cultures. The appointment of Michael Wang to lead our Rotocon Asia subsidiary was a logical decision.

EcoLine machines are produced in the Sino-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) area. Wang lives and supervises design changes and production.

According to the company, each EcoLine slitter/rewinder and printing press has a compact footprint, easy-to-use control panel and open machine design to maximize operator friendliness. The modem used for remote troubleshooting and maintenance enables Rotocon to quickly respond to the operator's software and driver related queries.

According to Wang, he believes that his many years of life in Canada have greatly benefited his cooperation with Rotocon. "Living in a Westernized country taught me how to bridge the differences between different cultures and maintain open communication, and I believe this helps promote the open and trusting partnership that Rotocon and I share today," he said. "It's an honor to now lead Rotocon's Asian subsidiary."

Michael Aengenvoort, Pascal Aengenvoort, Patrick Aengenvoort and Michael Wang met for the first time in many years at Rotocontrol's two-day open house in Sikh, Germany.
