MIAMI-After rumors of a potential trade for Houston Texans quarterback DeShawn Watson broke out again earlier this week, Dolphins coach Brian Flores publicly supported Tuatagowa on Friday Loya.

"I'm not really caught up in the rumors-Tua is our quarterback," Flores said when asked about Watson. "We are satisfied with the quarterback, our quarterback situation. I will give up on this, I have said it many times."

Before such a lawsuit was filed against him for the first time, he applied for a trade in January, and he has not participated or participated in any competitions this season.

Tagovailoa, who missed three games due to a broken rib, led the Dolphins to their only victory of the season in Week 1; they are currently in a five-game losing streak.

Flores had previously supported Tagovaloa at a team meeting a week before Miami's victory over the Patriots. Later that week, he publicly referred to Tagovailoa as "our quarterback" and stated that it is important for players and coaches to feel the support of their organization.

"This means a lot for the head coach," Tagovailoa said in September. "The support I get from him and the team is significant."

He returned from the injury reserve team that Miami lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, completing 33 of 47 passes, passing 329 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

Flores praised Tagovaloa's performance this season and his performance throughout the week.

"His preparation, his training style and his performance are very good. I think he played very well last week," Flores said. "I think he is in a good state of mind. He is a confident child, he is a strong child, in fact, he participated in two games this year, so he should have confidence in his way of playing. We have a lot of because The way he plays, so have confidence in him.

"He is growing. I think this kid is very smart, I think he, I think he is very talented. I think he is accurate, I think he definitely has a chance to become a very good NFL player... .Anyone in any profession, any profession. You must pass these efforts and you will become better because of this."

Rumors about the Dolphins trading Watson have been circulating for several months, and it is reported that Miami is the quarterback's preferred destination. However, Watson has not yet been punished by the NFL, and investigations into allegations of his behavior continue. Houston has made it clear that it intends to let Watson absent, but if he is traded to another team, it is unclear whether he will be allowed to participate in this season's games.

Flores said his players were preventing "what happened outside our building" as they prepared to host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

"Some of us may have heard of it, but for now - it's just a distraction at the end of the day," said rookie tackle Liam Eichenberg. "The most important thing this week is that we are playing against the Falcons and we need a victory. I think everyone's thinking now is to focus on the Falcons."
