They say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, so the cover band is indeed a huge compliment for their imitating behavior. Bret Michaels was so in awe of the Poison cover band Shot of Poison that he actually invited them to perform on stage with him.

Shot of Poison is composed of Fret Michaels, BB SeVille, Kenny Rockkit and Bobby Dollface, who are on the cover of this season's E! series Clash of bands. Last night (December 1st), the band played against a Depeche Mode cover band.

"To my friends in Shot of Poison, this is your friend Bret Michaels," the singer said in a video on E!'s Twitter yesterday. "First of all, I just want to wish you all the best tonight. I know you will face fierce competition, but I know you always bring it."

Then the singer provided them with a unique opportunity.

"This is my gift to you-I just want to say, thank you for all your hard work and dedication to make a poison show look incredible. For everything you have done, I want to invite you and me Come on stage together, okay?"

Unfortunately, Shot of Poison lost this round, but they still won in other ways. Michaels' invitation was to join him in his personal performance, called "Nothing but a good atmosphere tour", where they will perform together "Nothing but a good time".

The Michaels Tour will kick off on Thursday, December 16th in Des Plaines, Illinois. In 2022, he will participate in the long-awaited stadium tour with Poison, Motley Crue, Def Leppard and Joan Jett and Blackhearts.
